Why You Need a Used Warranty Advocate

I bet sometimes we all wish we had our own personal assistant, someone to take care of the little things and make our life easier. And I think that’s why so many of our used warranty customers have stayed our customers for so long. Not because we hire ourselves out as personal assistants (because we don’t), but because we act as your advocate against the things you shouldn’t have to worry about.

For example, a customer had a repair and went to a mechanic who took one look at it and said something like this, “Yup, that’s covered, and it’s a good thing because it’s going to be about $5000 to fix.” But after calling to tell the warranty insurer the good news, the insurer sent out an inspector instead of approving the claim. And guess what? The inspector came back saying the repair was indeed $5000 but that it was NOT covered.

Typically, this is where you are going to get left in the cold with any other used warranty company. They aren’t going to care because they already have your money and can’t be bothered to spend anymore time on you. You are going to get stuck paying the $5000 bill. End of story.

Luckily, when you have a vehicle service agreement with DCI Warranty Services, we step in as your advocate when you need us. We sent out a second inspector who examined the vehicle, said the repair was $5000, and proved that it WAS covered under his used warranty.
