When you are out there looking for a used warranty, you’ll find there are a ton of options online. But be careful! You want to make sure you are dealing with a reputable company, and the best thing you can do to protect yourself is to read all of the fine print on the used warranty.
If the used warranty company you are planning to do business with will not let you see the full and complete document before you sign the contract or make a payment, this is usually a huge warning sign. They probably are not acting in good faith and could be trying to hide something in the used warranty. And that “something” could end up costing you thousands of dollars and a never ending headache down the road if you are not careful!
And as you read, make sure you understand everything that is written in your used warranty. If something does not make sense, ask about it. A reputable company will always take the time to answer your questions to your full satisfaction – again, if they try to rush you through or brush off your queries, you might want to consider why you are doing business with them in the first place.
