Avoid Reimbursements For Extended Car Warranty Claims

by Gregory Nelson

Under some extended car warranty plans, you are required to pay the repair bill yourself and then send in the receipt for reimbursement from the warranty company. If this doesn’t sound like the most convenient option for you, that’s probably because it isn’t. In fact, I’d suggest you avoid this type of plan just to save yourself the possible headache it could cause.

When you are required to pay the repair bill first, that leaves plenty of room for the extended car warranty company to find fault with your claim. They may say they will only reimburse a certain amount because you were overcharged, or they could tell you the auto repair shop you went to was not one of their covered technicians.

However, if you purchase your vehicle service agreement through DCI Warranty Services, we pay for the repair charges directly, offering you peace of mind that you will never get stuck with the bill. We talk to the technician first to make sure repairs are covered, and you never have to risk waiting around for weeks while your bank account is waiting for money to be put back.
