What I’m about to say may seem like a no-brainer, but hear me out: Don’t ever break out your credit card until you have actually seen the extended auto warranty contract with your own two eyes. Sounds easy enough. BUT some warranty companies will try to distract you by only showing you a brochure, even if you’ve specifically asked to see the contract. So again: Make sure you see the actual contract!
Buying an extended auto warranty without reading over the contract would be like buying a house without ever looking inside it. Who would do that? Sure, it may have nice curb appeal but what about the mold and broken plumbing tainting the inside?
If they won’t let you see the extended warranty contract until after you buy, this is a huge red flag. Something is wrong because they are hiding the contract for a specific reason, and the reason is usually buried in the fine print that includes all of their fancy loopholes.
Fortunately, at DCI Warranty Services, this is already part of our current sales process. We show you the extended auto warranty contract before you purchase. You can even see a sample standard contract on our website so you can write down your questions when you speak with us.
