Hyundai Extended Warranty

by Gregory Nelson

If you have a Hyundai auto warranty that is going to expire soon, you should think about getting a Hyundai extended warranty. But wait, the sales person told you that when you turned down the extended warranty they offered you were no longer eligible for any future extended warranty programs. What’s the deal? Can you get an extended Hyundai auto warranty now?

Here’s a fun exercise: call up the sales person who sold you your car. Chat with them for a few minutes, then ask if they can sell you an extended warranty on your old car. Want to bet that they change their tune?

Sales people from every type of dealership will put pressure on you to buy the extended warranty at the time you buy the car – because it means a lot more money in their pockets. The extended warranty programs provide very healthy incentives to dealerships, so they try to get you to sign up on the spot, and roll the costs into your financing for the vehicle.

But if you did not choose to do that, take heart. You can still get an extended warranty – if not from the dealership, then from any number of reputable third-party companies that cater to providing warranties on older cars.
