If you are looking for a new auto warranty, there are a ton of options online. But if you want to make sure you are dealing with a reputable company, the best thing you can do to protect yourself is to read all of the fine print on the warranty.
If the company you are planning to do business with will not let you fully review the document before you sign the contract or make a payment, this is usually a sign that they are not acting in good faith, and could be trying to hide something in the warranty. That “something” could end up costing you thousands of dollars down the road if you are not careful!
And as you read, make sure you understand everything that is written in your warranty. If something does not make sense, ask about it. A reputable company will always take the time to answer your questions to your full satisfaction – again, if they try to rush you through or brush off your queries, you might want to consider why you are doing business with them in the first place. Problems now could be a sign of problems down the road when it really counts!
