I don’t think most consumers realize this, but you are actually better of purchasing your extended warranty as soon as possible versus waiting for the manufacturer’s warranty to expire. Why? Because of a little thing know as pre-existing conditions. Any claim that comes in on a contract that is 120 days or younger is going to be scrutinized for pre-existing conditions.
